Honkers loss first to Merchants

The Northwest Honkers lost Monday night to the Everett Merchants at Shorecrest High School 12-1. Honkers Bobby Wassmann pitched four innings for the loss. Honkers were down 6-0 going into the sixth when they gave up a five run inning and only rallied back for one run in the eighth.

Honkers hosted the first night of the “Honkin’ for Harvest” food drive collecting around 100lbs of food in just the first night. The Honkers will continue their food drive at the three remaining home games.

The Honkers face off against the Spokane Dodgers tonight at 5:30PM at Warren G. Magnuson in Seattle. HONK HONK!!
