The Voice of the Honkers

The Northwest Honkers are excited to announce the new “Voice of the Honkers,” Blaine Steele. With the transition to the Honkers new home field in Fall City, the addition of a announcer was the next step to bring the fan experience wanted! Blaine is a hometown guy, born and raised in Seattle attending Chief Sealth High School where he played baseball all four years. He is currently attending South Seattle Community College working on hi Bachelors in Journalism.

“I chose to accept his position because it sounded like an amazing opportunity with some great people to take part in a sport I have loved since I first learned to change the station to Mariners games,” said Blaine. “I am looking forward to watching some good baseball, becoming the Voice of the Honkers and taking part in the next step in what I hope will define my career.”

You can catch Blaine at the Honkers first home game on Sunday, June 7th at the Fall City Community Park baseball field with a double header against the Kamloops Sundevils beginning at 10:00AM.
