Honkers split with Kamloops

The Northwest Honkers hosted the Kamloops Sundevils for the first home game at the Honkers new home field in Fall City, WA at the Fall City Community Park.
The Honkers were able to pull out the win in game one to take the first game on the home field 1-0. The score remained at zero until the bottom of the seventh the Honkers rallied and with bases loaded Honkers second baseman Jordan Padilla drove in the winning run with a walk-off single. Honkers Bobby Wassmann threw a complete game for the win giving up only three hits in seven innings. Honkers center fielder Jacob Zanon had a double in the game.
In game two the Sundevils took the lead 2-0 but the Honkers answered back driving in three in the sixth and one in the seventh but were unable to hold off the Sundevils to drop the game 5-4. Honkers center fielder Zanon, second baseman Padilla and first baseman Cameron Padron all had doubles in the game for the Honkers.
