Four Honker players sign to four year

The Northwest Honkers have four players that have signed to continue their baseball career at a four year.

Honkers right handed pitcher Tanner Braun has signed to play at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA. In the 2015 season Braun started seven games for the Honkers posting a 4.28ERA and striking out 38. In the 2014 season Braun started eight games for the Honkers posting a 2.63ERA and striking out 37.

Honkers center fielder Jacob Zanon has signed to play at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, ID. In his first season with the Honkers, Zanon had a .340 batting average with 67 hits including 14 doubles, 4 triples and 5 home runs with 40 RBI’s. Zanon had 12 stolen bases for the Honkers and only two errors in the field. In the league standings Zanon tied for first in home runs, second in RBI’s and sixth in batting average.

Honkers right handed pitcher Brad Bennett has signed to play at University of Jamestown in Jamestown, ND. In his first season with the Honkers, Bennett had nine starts with a 5-2 record posting a 2.85ERA with 35 strikeouts. In league standings Bennett tied for third with five wins.

Honkers left handed pitcher Mitch Eatmon has signed to play at University of Jamestown in Jamestown, ND. In his first season with the Honkers, Eatmon pitched in 22 innings posting a 4.03ERA and striking out 24. Eatmon had a 1-0 record with the Honkers.
